Youth Opportunities Program The Youth Opportunities Program (YOP) provides out-of-school immigrant and newcomer youth in Ontario with leadership, mentorship and community activities to help them build marketable skills while providing them with opportunities for meaningful community engagement. Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District offers pre-employment workshops and volunteer placements, guided by a youth advisory committee. Why not ask about our school-based programs and volunteer 4 hours a month.
We also offer a program for newcomer youth. If you have an interest in meeting people who are new to North Bay then the Youth Host Program is for you. Spend 4-6 hours a month with a newcomer youth and experience North Bay all over again. Ask us about this new and exciting program.
