What do Big Brothers & Big Sisters do?

BB Cooking

The Big Brother Big Sister programs aim to assist children and youth with their physical, social, cultural, and spiritual growth. Our interaction with Little Brothers and Little Sisters allows us to:

  • Help children meet their basic needs
  • Attend to their health and well-being
  • Further their growth and development
  • Encourage them to achieve their full potential

The Big/Little relationship is a one-to-one friendship that involves no financial commitment to the Little Brother/Little Sister or his/her family. In fact, some of the best activities are low-cost and spontaneous. As a Big Brother or Big Sister, all you are asked to give is your time. You will be amazed at the difference you make in the life of a child by volunteering for only a few hours a week and how enriched your life becomes in the process.
